MedCline LP Shoulder Relief System Approved as Medical Device for FSA and HSA Health Plans

The MedCline LP Shoulder Relief System has been approved as a qualified medical expenditure for health savings plans nationwide. Patients suffering with shoulder pain at are now able to purchase the shoulder relief system, which includes the MedCline LP Shoulder Relief Wedge and Therapeutic Body Pillow, on FSAstore.com and HSAstore.com. To be listed on these online stores, all products need to be approved by an independent board consisting of health savings plan administrators and members of the IRS. Amenity Health Wins CE Mark for MedCline

June 2018 – Amenity Health said today that its medical device, MedCline, won CE Mark approval in the EU.

The San Diego, Calif-based company manufactures a device called MedCline, which is a medical device scientifically proven to help alleviate chronic health issues such as GERD and acid reflux.

“We are pleased to announce the CE Mark approval of MedCline, signifying that we have completed the rigorous quality and performance requirements of the EU authorities,” said CEO Aaron Clark.

CE marking is the medical device manufacturer’s claim that a product meets the Essential Requirements of the Medical Device and all relevant European Health, Safety and Environmental Protection Legislation Product Directives.

The approval also represents a significant milestone towards the commercialization of MedCline and demonstrates the commitment we have to our existing and future customers, partners, and investors. We look forward to making MedCline available to patients throughout the World.

June 2018 – MedCline products meet all CertiPUR-US® standards for content, emissions, and durability through an analysis by independent, accredited testing laboratories. The Certification Process was established with guidance from the global foam industry and in conjunction with the leadership of the mattress and upholstered furniture industries, as well as an advisory panel of scientists, academics, environmentalists and representatives of consumer.

All certified flexible polyurethane foams are tested and analyzed twice in the first year, and re-certified annually thereafter. Random on-site foam production plant checks of participating foam producers are also conducted

CertiPUR-US certified foam is:

  • Made without ozone depleters
  • Made without PBDEs, TDCPP or TCEP (“Tris”) flame retardants
  • Made without mercury, lead and other heavy metals
  • Made without formaldehyde
  • Made without phthalates regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission
  • Low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions for indoor air quality (less than 0.5 parts per million)
